the nurture space

Niki Gelekis is the therapist at the nurture space with over 25 years of experience in the mental health and wellness field. She is passionate about providing a safe, respectful and therapeutic experience for all her clients who are experiencing emotional distress, struggling with their mental health and struggling within their relationships.

She offers an integrative psychotherapy approach to evidence-based practices helping clients reshape their nervous systems to support emotional regulation and connection to self and others.

The foundation of her counselling approach is highly relational and holistically based. She utilises many integrative approaches to help address the impacts of stress and trauma on the brain, nervous system and on interpersonal relationships. Niki views mental health experiences of chronic stress, anxiety, panic attacks, OCD, ADHD, depression, dissociation, PTSD and Complex PTSD through this holistic, relational and neurobiological lens.

Her passion is in safely supporting clients to identify, process and integrate painful emotional and relational experiences to live a more adaptive, authentic and connected life and in nurturing their relationship to self and their relationships to significant others.
